Good thoughts needed

There is a friend of mine who lives in Wisconsin. She is also known as my guide. Her first name is Doreen...I usually don't put names out in public, but since I think I've mentioned her in public entries before, I suppose it won't hurt this once again.

She is in hospital. A "family" member of hers who lives in Pennsylvania just called and told me that she went in because she is nauziated and her head feels as if it is going to explode. I put family in quotes because she is not biological family, but acquired family. I'm going numb. We've only actually known each other for about two years, and I've met her once in person. However, she has become one of my closest friends and this is not going well with me. Dear gods, dear gods....she is one of the few who has helped me deal with some of the abilities I have, and she is one of the nly ones I can speak of them freely with, at least over the phone. She is also one of the ones I can speak freely with above and beyond them. Other than rnb_capricorn and a few others on the F-list she is someone I can talk to about just about anything. Dear gods....she and I have had laughs.....sorry, I know I'm over reacting, but right now I don't' care...Just, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

The worst is over

Sorry for those who see this twice...

Doreen's with a friend. She is still not completely out of the woods, but the worst is over. The friend who is calling (not the same friend that Doreen is currently with)said that they mest up her ear on accedint, so now she's having balance issues; they also put Doreen on a new medication, which isn't helping her balance any, so Doreen's with a friend. She also has a mild concussion from someone who ran into her on last week's ski trip, so the friend is helping her and helping to take care of Doreen's guide tdog, Harp, so that Doreen can rest. She isn't to lay down and sleep, she's to do it sitting up. The friend who is keeping me updated says she should be home by Monday.
I'm extrememy grateful for the support here. Keep it coming, please.
