Canye... [09 Jun 2005|12:33pm]
[ mood | excited/hyper/wired ]

Canye's album rules, it's badass and it fuckin' rules!!! My parents cam think all they want that "rap is crap," but I will be hard put, hard pressed and hard to pursuade after listening to this piece of niceness that hip hop sucks.

I never knew how much you could, should and can put int any type of music until two days ago when I listend to "Christmas at the Biltmore" BY Judy COllins, the Celtic Woman concert on PBS last night and now Canye. Oh my gods! THe emotion...the realness and the way he presents things...damn!

One thing, though. Could someone explain to me why he seems to make fun of college degrees? Am I reading that wrong, or what? I'm not gunna stop listening to him if he does, it just kind of makes me nervous as that's one of the things I want in life and it seems to me that he's making fun of those of us who do. If I'm mistaken, please inform me. I find it rather humorous the way he does it, though, and if that's all he's doing, then yeah he did a damn good job.

Anyway....the emotion here is just....damn!

Nelly will be next on the list of informally reviewed albums. It'll be nice to be able to actually express what I believe is vood music along with some of the nicer things on here.I guess that's what I get for having such a wide range of intrests that span both the Hip hop and the christian fields and just about everything in between.
Canye rules, rules, rules!!!!

this makes me want to puke, and puke badly!!! [09 Jun 2005|05:04pm]
[ mood | completely, utterly disgusted!! ]

OK people be prepared to get very, very, very pissed, or triggered, or both. Sorry if this triggers, but this has got to be done. Problem is is I don't know the server location, otherwise I'd report it. I don't know how to find that information either. SO if one of you geeks out there could help me I'd appreciat it muchly. This is just not!
comunity supporting rapeCollapse )
I am completely disgusted now. This is worse than the ana coms I saw yesterday, much worse. Considering I know *at least* half a dozen women who have been through this, I am completely sickened to almost physically. It's a good thing I haven't eaten anything. Also, indirectly through other sources, I know many more, and I have no doubt some of you out there are just as disgusted.

Damn! This is one of the ones I've heard somewhat about and I heard she was supposed to be pretty good...damn.
So yeah there's my update on tennis. I wish I could get this stuff on local stations so I didn't have to deal with break up and buffering. Sucks to be a dialup user sometimes. Especially since the last two are in England. The English commentary promises a lot.
Yeah, I'm kind of a rooky to the whole following of Tennis, but some of the players have been a source of fascination for me over the years, and whenever I can, I try to catch maches on TV. Again, not having cable makes it hard.

Anyway, now that I feel a bit better for the tennis kick, I suppose I'll go find something else to do until I need to appologize for not giving my dad a message that was actually rather important as it had to do with relatives flying in from a trip.
