I now have a little bit more responsibility for the house since mom has left for Alaska. This is a good thing, since this will teach me things I will need to know for when I won't be here anymore.
One of my responsibilities is the kitty litter in the back bedroom. I now get to clean out the litter boxxes, check the food an water, and all that good stuff. The cat's welfare is litterally in my hands. The laundry I'm not too sure of. I know mine is, but I'm not sure whether dad will take it upon himself to do his own or not. Once the dishes come out of the dishwasher, I will be putting them away as well. Dad has left with Mom for the airport and is heading from there to work. After he comes home he and I will be heading to the Division of Blind services for a certain lovely meeting between myself, the new District Administrator and my counsellor. I am now free to listen to whatever music I choose to listen to. This is goiing to be one hell of a good day. We have food around the house that I can microwave, and as long as dad doesn't tease me too much, things should go pretty good around here. I still haven't completely unpacked yet, but that will come in time.Right now, however, it's time for me to sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet around here.
