I had been without one all last semester, and without a printer, too. Now, however, ever since about two weeks ago I have had both. I wasn't sure that my stuff would work with XP because it was about four/five years old, but it does, so that's absolutely fantasstic. I have been scanning stuff all afternoon, and it's so much fun to be able to tell your profs that you have a way of doing things withoug having to resort to dependency on others...lovely stuff indeed.
I'd forgotten how long it takes though, but oh well. At least now I have a little bit of Angelou's stuff on this computer...which is nice. I may also go to the bookstore and buy one of ther books from there if they have any left...this is turning out to be a bigger thing than a lot of people thought it would be. Personally I'm not all that surprised that tickets sold out so fast, I mean...this is Mya Angelou we're talking about, she's one of the well-known poets of the 20/21 century...so there we go. She's better known in the 20th century, but anyway...she's now writing Halmark cards and stuff. So now that I've done my rambling for the day...I suppose I'll go for now, but not before I welcome halimede to friends list. I hope you've enjoyed what you've read so far and I hope you enjoy future posts, *smiles*
Until next time all,
